PARKING

As a stallholder, you should arrive and be fully set up between 7 and 8am. Please unpack quickly and quietly and remove your vehicle from the market area.  Then you can take your time setting up for the day. It is essential you do not park in the areas that customers would park, please park as advised.

There will be no vehicle access until the grounds are safely cleared. Vendors are welcome to carry their items out or pack up and retrieve their vehicle when alerted it’s safe. We ask everyone to park in the rear car parks so there is room for customer parking.

RUBBISH

We believe in sustainability and as such we require the least amount of plastic possible. We request each stallholder to think about what sort of rubbish they contribute to the environment and their impact.

All stallholders are responsible for taking their own rubbish including but not limited to packing cartons, plates/cups, milk and other bottles and any plastic packaging.

Vendors are responsible for ensuring no personal or commercial waste is placed in the bins we provide or in our removal pile.

POWER

At this stage there is limited power and so each stallholder who wishes to run appliances must provide their own. If you really have no alternative to power please indicate your need via the application.

Generators must be silent with no fumes.

CASUAL/PERMANENT STALLHOLDER

We encourage stallholders to commit to regular market attendance to ensure better exposure of your product and to provide consistency. Preference of stallholders will determined by this factor.

FEES & HIRE

Refer to our application form for market fees.

We have reviewed market stall fees across Sydney and have priced our markets at what we believe are very fair and equitable rates.

To secure your position, site fees are payable in advance by direct deposit or Paypal. Payment terms are on the invoice. If payment isnโ€™t made by the deadline then we will go to the next stall on the reserve list.

MARKETING

We spend considerable time every month updating our website and socials to showcase our vendors.

As such we will run a regular blog for permanent stallholders. This means if you regularly participate in the markets we will give you exposure, tailored to your needs at no extra cost.

If you are a casual stallholder, your fee does not include a blog, however we may create one at our discretion. Please upload your best photos and links to your socials/website.

ADVERSE WEATHER

Markets will operate in varying weather conditions and stallholders must be prepared for adverse weather.

HEAT POLICY

We will at all times endeavour to monitor weather conditions including heat at the market. At the discretion of management, the market may close earlier if conditions deem this necessary.

Ultimately you should follow personal indicators for heat stress including dizziness, nausea, confusion, fatigue and headaches and make an informed decision about ongoing participation.

WIND POLICY

Regardless of weather predictions, all stallholders must have their marquees weighed down as per manufacturers instructions. For insurance purposes, please check your marquee manufacturers operating instructions are followed and marquees are built to Australian standards. We reserve the right to cancel markets at short notice due to wind and weather.

Stallholders may pack up their marquee roof quickly in the event of sudden wind and may leave early, only upon consultation with and if permission is given by management.

Unfortunately, as we put a lot of effort in to hosting the markets on the day, no refunds/credits are given for the cancellation of markets and/or reduced trading hours on market days due to adverse weather conditions by the stall holder and/or Management.

Management will not be held responsible for any loss including fees paid by stallholders, damage or injury whatsoever resulting from adverse weather conditions.
